Ever wonder why so often we failed to cut off from bad habits?

Ever wonder why we always repent for our sins and yet after a few days, we stumble again?

Ever wonder why you do all you can to prevent from stumbling, yet you stumble again?

asking forgiveness upon forgiveness, grace upon grace until to the point that we do not even know how to face God anymore because we wonder whether God will still ever forgive this non-stop of bad habits or sins? Have you discovered that, in the past, you may have desired freedom for the wrong reasons? What were those reasons?

This is because our motives of being set free is wrong in the first place! Please take time to think. Are we trying to be free from all these bondages so that we can feel better about ourselves? so that we can be more 'holy'? so that we can be the 'leader' that God wants us to be? so that our future life and marriage will be bless by God(for sexual sins)?

All these motives are self-centered. When we all do things that are self-centered, it means that we are not involving God in this matter. That is why, we often depend on our own strength to be free from bondages. We need our motives to be CHRIST-centered! Setting motives right is the first step to gain freedom! So, what is the Christ-centered motive?

1 Cor 10:31 says Therefore whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do ALL to the glory of God.

It says here very clearly. We need to do it for the glory of God! Our motive has to be: we want to be free from all these bondages, so that our God can be glorified! Not glorifying one-self (such as to feel good about ourselves, to be mroe 'holy' etc etc).

To be free, we need to change ourselves and convince ourselves that we want to cut all these bad habits and sins because we want to glorify God and stop hurting God, not because we want HIS blessings! (obviously when God is please with you, HIS blessings flow unto you but this should not be the reason you want to cut off from habitual sins)

now why we need to glorify God with our body by stop sinning?

1 Cor 6:19 - 20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

It is simple here. We need to honour and glorify God with our body. How? simply by cutting off from our habitual sins.

Therefore we really need to set our motive right to be free from habitual sins! Glorifying God should be our main motive!

First Year - DONE!

Yes, I've finished my year! Praise God! And guess what? It ended with a blast! SEGi REVOLUTION PARTY 2010!

It's been loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong since I last updated about myself! Been busy (not so, and yes) all these while. Let me bring you my first year's half highlights!

January February and March
SCHOOL time as usual. Busy and Yes Feb 16th, is the one day I'll never forget!

April
I went for Victory Weekend, conducted by Eaglepoint church! There, I truly experience God's grace. I think everyone should go Victory weekend, and let Jesus do the healing and set us free from sins and bondage.

May and June
It was my exam period. But Praise God for HIS favour and grace, my results were out now, I got 3A and 1B for my first year Pharmacy! (:

July
It was REVOLUTION party. Though we started promotion late, but thank God, HE filled the Auditorium with more than 270+ people, 61 people responded to the message, 17 confirmed salvation! PRAISE GOD! It must have been God that is being so REAL in that event!

All in all, thank God for HIS astronomical grace! HE is always faithful even though sometimes I felt dry inside, and HE always fill my cup when I'm empty again! I love you JESUS. Thank YOU for using me, as an instrument of YOURS and become a blessings for others!

I've also get to know Subang CF people through REVO planning. The likes of Melissa, Fee Vien, Jevin and Ailynn and many more, they are so committed and come for meeting and practice everytime! Great people to be with!

Now, I'm back in Penang, I'm gonna use this one month and a half to refresh myself again and go back on my pharmacy track again this Sept. As the saying goes, there's a season for everything, and I'm on holiday season! But still, that doesnt mean I will stop SERVING HIM. I will do what HE says. I will choose only to PLEASE HIM.

That's all for now! I'll revive my blog from this post onwards!

Lots of things happened recently. But God is GOOD, HIS mercy renews every morning and HIS GRACE is always sufficient for me. That is why I'm still alive here (:

100MCQ was okay, but I'm aiming high this time. I name it, claim it and gonna take it! But still I'm humble enough to prepare the marks that I'll get. Still give thanks anyway!

Next would be, this Sat, Campus VIBE will have an outing to Lake View Garden in KL. I heard it's one of the best gardens in KL. Forest in the city? haha Anyone interested can let me know!

So sorry readers cause I haven't been updating my blog for days. It seems though as if it's dead. Well, I'm actually considering to shut this blog already because what Melvin says is true. Sometimes our blog is just merely reporting back what had happened recently.

But all these while, I wanted my blog to be more than that. I want it to be a book of testimonies where people can be encouraged and also trying to keep this blog as informative as possible.

Weekends

Yesterday, me, Samuel and Fugi decided to go to Tesco, the Curve and IKEA to grab what we needed to grab. So 3 bachelors going for grocery shopping, can you imagine that? Haha. After that we cooked ourselves dinner. Played futsal under the rain until 12midnight and had a good swim till 2. By the way, I got myself a new Christmas tumbler! I want the penguin eh but sadly, it's sold out. So this is the rabbit one! LOL. And Toffee nut latte is so niceeeeeeee! =)

I noticed it's been a while since I updated my blog. Sorry, I was very busy. Busy with works, church and all. But so far, I'm enjoying myself. My timetable is rather weird, certain days very hectic and certain days very free. But for me (Group A), I have to wake up everyday before 9! SIGH. Anyway, I'm used to the life here already. Looking forward for weekends, because of CHURCH. I love going to church! God is indescribable!

Cant believe that this week is my 5th week of my term already, 2 more weeks and I'll be in midterm! Amazing, time really flies. And sooner than you think, it's Christmas! Oh how I love Christmas! Time of reunion and celebration for the season.

Ultimately, Jesus is the reason for the season!

I guess I'm going off now. Btw, I've moved into campus already. Love it! So happening during the nights, be it library, futsal court, badminton court or the pool area! AWESOME!

Of YA Cycling Trip

YA (Youth Ablaze - SEGi University College's CF) had a cycling trip in Bukit Cahaya Agricultural Park, Shah Alam. It was awesome! It's way bigger than Penang Botanic Garden and it's so beautiful! I really enjoyed myself with the YAs, loving to be part of them. Mrs Vicky, our advisor really put in effort in teaching us and discipling us! We had a great time. I'll just let the pictures do the talking. We set out from SEGi UC at 8 in the morning and lunch in Old Town Sunway Damansara before heading back at 3 noon. =)

FireProof

I am sad, by knowing disasters happen around us in just these 2 weeks. It's so saddening to see news happening in Samoa, Tonga, Phillipines, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and even Japan. I feel it as though the world is heading no where. Somemore with news of some "x" people from other country wanted to have riot in Malaysia. I mean, what is it going on?

Alan's blog and the movie Fire Proof really reminded me on so many things. It teaches about LOVE, PATIENCE, PASSIONS towards the people around us, people that we don't even know and of course towards our almighty God.

Sometimes, we have this "poor God" mentality. For example, Genie mentality, Buffet mentality and Pie mentality.

Genie mentality, we always tell God what WE want. We always remind God that we have served HIM, tithe faithfully etc etc and all. And trade it with God's blessings. It is like as though we trade our RELATIONSHIP with God with God's inheritance and provision (like the parable of lost son in Luke 15:11) We always tell God, we want this and we want that, but never see what other people needs.

Buffet mentality, when we know God draws near to us, we often make a whole lot list of request (self-centered ones). Then we just sapu all non-stop. We want this, we want that.

Pie mentality, if God bless someone more or you see someone's life are better off in terms of everything (financial and promotions etc etc) we often get jealous, thinking that God gave them a bigger portion of the pie. But remember Proverbs 22:2. The Lord is the creator of both sides!

You see, God never promise us to be a no fire life. Because the very ministry of Jesus is full with fire, it's Jesus that able to withstand the fire and go through it. It's the same goes to us. Fire will always come and try to burn us down, but it's whether or not we're fireproof. And God is training each and everyone of us to be fireproof, we all were once broken, but God is always merciful and gracious enough to restore us (the lost son was back and his father restored his sonship - if you read the latter part of the parable). HE is always there to care every single needs of us. Sometimes, we ask something, HIS answer is always yes, no or later. He knows best, HE knows which type of fire u will pass the test and which one not but YET.

I'm very blessed by the movie Fireproof and sermons by Pastor Shaun.

Fireproof doesn't mean fire wont come, it means when fire comes, we're able to withstand it =)

Freshies Week

Hello, everything is good, got my timetable already. It's hectic, but I'll learn how to enjoy every bits of it. Being here myself is not by chance but by the blessing of God, I would have been somewhere else doing something else. But I just want to thank the Lord for this opportunity and friends that really pray for me and alongside with me =) Thank you.

In this freshies week, Pharmacy has been really brought out and discussed. I really do have a clearer picture on what is Pharmacy all about and the public always mistreat and got the wrong idea on Pharmacy, even myself, it's beyond just dispensing medicine and making drugs.

The materials that I'll be needing next week onwards.

I got no holiday until Christmas eve!

Haha, So that's basically all about it. I miss Penang FOOD, seriously! LOL

A Sunday Blessed with Spiritual & Physical Foods

Hey people! Time for some updates! Last Saturday night, I went out with Samuel, Fungai and Kauumar. We had dinner together in mamak stall somewhere nearby. We had a great time together joking and sharing with one another. Then before I hit the bed, William called me, meeting up with him the next day.

On Sunday morning, I took a cab to KelanaJaya LRT station, took a train to AsiaJaya and walked to PJ Hilton to wait up for William. Then we went to Glad Tidings to meet up with church board members like Uncle Peter, Richard and Louis. The sermon was good by Ps Vincent, on moving the hands of God. Later we hit SIBKL, didn't know that they're actually gonna record live for their second album until we reach. Awesome Praise and Worship session and sermons by Ps Chew! So honored and blessed to be so called part of their album! HAHAHAHA Kenny and Sara were part of the band too!

After lunch in SS2, we went down to KL, after dropping uncle Richard, Peter and Louis at Pudu, me and William head down to Pavillion before going for a Japanese buffet. We ate a lot! That's why the title for this post is, blessed with Spiritual and Physical Foods. I had a great time, God is so good where William came to KL on the right time, where my place everything is close due to Raya.

After dinner, headed to Midvalley before going back to Sunway Sun Inn.

Hey people, it's me again! I can't believe I'm already here for a week. And now it's Saturday evening, where now usually I'm preparing myself for Ignite. But now, here in KL, Saturday evening seems to be so less-exciting. I'm now in Uni's canteen blogging, thinking where should I grab my dinner and all, nothing much. Besides, tmrw is Raya, KL is so empty! Haha

And guess what now the whole house is mine! Roommates and housemates were all back to their hometowns. So house party anyone? Haha Anyway last night Vibe Youth was great. Met a lot of people round the world. Great fellowships with friendly people that loves to joke around. I never had so much fun with people for a long time already. The joy of the Lord is overwhelming each and everyone of us.

Anyway, the sky here is getting darker, thought of playing futsal with my friends from Africa today after this but oh well, it's gonna rain soon so I guess I better get going! See ya people! Take care and God bless!

Hey, I'm still alive. I managed to walk to Giant, it took me 45+ minutes! Can you imagine that? Haha On the way, I have to pass through Dataran Sunway. It's like shop lots and park. I found a Starbucks there! Nearest Starbucks to my place! I'll go there often. Hahaha. There they have Kayu nasi kandar too, but super expensive lo, teh ais cost me RM1.60! What more about my rice? RM8 with only cabbage, fried squid with papadam. Tsk tsk tsk.

Anyway, Kamm Siaa Chuu, for it's a blessing to live another day. I know HE will never let me go hungry eh, never ever! Been through so many testimonies with Him and I'm still walking through with Him. =)

People in KL are getting ready to balik kampung for Raya holiday, but I'll be staying here over the Raya. I guess that's all about it, I have to do my own laundry too, using hands! I'm getting used to the campus life, everything is fine, Praise the Lord.

Hey people! I'm still alive if you're wondering. I'm now still staying temporarily in a unit. Should be moving out in few days time. So I didn't really settle down yet.

Everything is okay, definitely Penang food is better, been eating Nasi Lemak only for most of the time.

No internet for now in my condo, got to subscribe for the line, so I only get to online during the day in my college. My campus is HUGE! Haha

So basically that's all. Praise God for everything! =) I'm going off to Giant later to buy some necessities. Gonna WALK there. More walking from now onwards.

I'm just speechless. I never expected it, seriously! I have this so called mini shopping wishlist in my heart which I seldom or rather never revealed it to anyone.

It's beyond my wildest dream larh, SERIOUSLY. As you all know I got my hair cut yesterday in Komtar and you know ler, you can get cheap and nice shoes there. And I have this habit that is to go into a shop and will look at the stuff that I like for quite some time and in the end I didn't buy it. But yesterday, I was this close to put in effort to try out sizes and buy already eh! But somehow, my heart says other days, so I just left in the end.

God is amazing, my friends are all amazing as well!!!! Really Kam Sia all of you!!!! I'm overwhelmed!

7 Days

Well, things are finally over. My cousins and aunt gone back to England already. And I left 7 days to taste whole new adventure of my life - KL.

This morning, I got up at 5 to send my aunt to Airport and cousin to bus terminal station. And then went home and slept a while before getting my hair cut in Hair Impression. After that, lepak-ed awhile in Starbucks Island and got my banking stuff done later on.

My week is action-packed. Rarely have any vacant slots of time to have more parties and hangouts. I got Bible Study on tonight, dinner on tmrw night, lunch on Thursday and Friday & Saturday I'm always busy in church, I'm loving it, not to say about Sunday! Furthermore Paradise band is coming! It'll be awesome.

PS: Life is always about up and downs, God is moulding you because God has a destiny for you and by the end of it, you'll be perfect in HIS perfect will. Remember, you HAVE to go through the storms before you can see the Rainbow! Take heart, God thinks about you and is always with you every second of the time. =)

This morning, at 7, Ivan picked Melvin and me up and meet the rest (Alan, Denise and Joo Tatt) at Joo Tatt's house. We then went to Chew Jetty and start our first series of photo shooting - Georgetown Series. =) I really learned a lot of things from my friends. Photography is always a never-ending subject, like Stephanie said, we always learn from each other. And I got a few good shots as well, all benefited from Bro Arden's workshop. =) I only used my bro's kodak point-and-shoot camera. After having rotai canai as breakfast, we moved on to Armenien Street and Soo Hong lane. Georgetown is really a beautiful town with British colonial heritage buildings and influences. AWESOME.

A week with Cousins

Haha, A lot of people ask me, are you bored after quitting Starbucks? Answer is NO. Because for the past one week, I've been going out with my cousins who are back from UK, Wesley and Andrew. But sadly, Doctor Wesley is going back to London this saturday because he doesn't have many leaves to apply as a doctor. A busy doctor life he's having. Haha. Anyway, we had great times together.

Last Sunday night, I brought them to Ananda, they love it there! LOL. And to them it's super cheap, 6 pounds to have meals for 4 person, that's something considerably cheap.

Monday, we went to Gurney Plaza to hang out, nothing much. Bought some shirts.

Tuesday, we went to Tropical Fruit Farm. I love it there. We went for the farm tour. I've learned lots of stuff about fruits, amazed by the creativity of God who created all these fruits full with vitamins and nutrients. But sadly, you cannot find those fruits in market because of no demands and nobody appreciates them. Then we had fruit buffet! Yumm, you all should try red dragon fruit plus pineapple fruit juice! It's superb! Then we stopped by the dam before going to Feringghi beach. There, we played Jet ski, quite expensive though. At night, we went to the Night market at Batu Ferringhi and then caught a late night GI Joe movie. Very tired but we had fun!

Wednesday, we went to Queensbay mall. Had Manhattan for dinner. Then I go my separate ways to Hunza to complete MFC games stuff. Midnight (Thursday 3am), we all went to Sunrise McD to watch Arsenal-Celtic game. My cousins are big-time of Arsenal fans. Then thursday morning, we set out to Teluk Bahang, Penang National Park and hike up to Pantai Kerachut (Turtle Beach). Imagine us having not more than 4 hours of sleep and then the next morning hiking. LOL. So tiring! When we're on our way back, it rained heavily, and we got no choice but to hike under the rain, we were all wet. After shower, we had lunch in Gurney plaza and then I went home and get some rest.

At night, I went out with great friends to Ananda for 4 in 1 celebrations. It was awesome, great fellowship! Haha we went to Starbucks to chillax. And then here I am blogging. That's basically about my week. Busy, tiring but AWESOME.

Tmrw most probably, morning I'm going to clean up my room, at noon, help out in PISA and then dinner with cousins.

Saturday is the big day! Mega Food Carnival at PISA. Please be there! 10 to 4pm! See you all there! God bless! And my cousin Wesley is going back =( but Andrew still got 2 more weeks.

That's basically about it. Praise God and all glory unto HIM for all the favors HE has given to me! =) God bless!

Starbucks

I can still remember clearly when I did my first impression with Alice back in April. Time flies so fast as though it's just a glimpse and now I've completed my job or rather got my past 4 months filled with knowledge and earned some pocket money. I thank God, I met some great people there, great people to work with and great customers. We exchanged knowledge on coffee, world issues, shared about our journey walking with our beloved Christ and many more, I'm just glad that I'm part of all these.

Definitely, I'm gonna miss them. From my very friends that taught me the things in Starbucks, to the partners that I work along side with and new partners that I taught. It was a great experience. Great mentality that they had while working though we still did had ups and downs. But it's about character building, no one is perfect remember? Haha.

Sorry for the late late post, was super busy! And I had a super great time with God during the two sessions with Ps Susan Tang.

Yesterday (Monday) was my off day. Went to Gurney and watched G I Joe. I must admit, it's a very good movie. The only thing I don't really like is they add a lot of stuff like extra characters in the movie compared to the real original cartoon series. Haha. Overall it was good.

Then dinner with Edward in gurney drive and we had Char Koay Teow! Yumm Yumm. I just got back from store meeting, quite draggy because of the business of the store. And I had supper with Gee Gee and Emma in Jamal.

2 of my friends flew to Bandung just now for Padjajaran University for their medicine. All the best to Thani and Ashvinii (both brother and sister) HAHA. I'll definitely visit you guys next year when you all rent your own house! Take care and all the best!

I just realized she just loves to camwhore too! LOL

I had a busy weekend, it was a tiring one but I had fun and enjoyed myself in the Lord.

Imagine this, Friday night I was working closing. I reached home at 2am and slept at 3! Then woke up at 7 on Saturday morning to work opening till 2. After 2, I rushed back home and bathed then went to Photography workshop conducted by Bro Arden Khoo. I tell you, I learned lots of insights about photography, it was awesome! Then meeting at 6 then Ignite as usual and ended the night with supper. Super tiring right?

So this week will be my final week working. I'm so excited! And time really flies. My cousin will be reaching Penang on this coming Saturday (Stop by Hong Kong on Thursday before coming to Msia on Sat) and we'll just have a great time, so much things to catch up especially football! The season is back, the fever is back too! LOL.

So today (Monday) is my off day, gonna have plenty of rest. Tuesday night, Bible Study with Ps Susan Tang, Wednesday Prayer Conference at PCC, Thursday night doing MFC games stall preparations, Friday night Prayer meeting, Saturday I'll be sharing in Chung Hwa CF and selling tickets at Queens and Sunday Church and then hangouts!

Busy week right? I'm just so glad all the days are all filled up and I pray and believe all of the days will be a fruitful one!

Faith + Hope + Love

Last Monday I bought the album Faith+Hope+Love by Hillsong from Salvation in Midland. It's a good album. Seriously, few songs in this album really ministered to me. Praise God!

I had Coffee Bean Salmon Bagel for free! Yay! My STARBUCKS customer chia me COFFEE BEAN salmon bagel! HAHAHAHAHA.

I enjoyed working with awesome friends. Monday night was Firdaus last night working. We had burger party. Somehow God just brought all of us to Island Plaza. We didn't plan anything but somehow everyone just came to Island Plaza that night even Ian, Seeling and Ah Kong & Ah Ma! We all ate burger that night!

Tuesday I worked morning (back-to-back) for 8 hours also. Was super tired, but got no time to rest. After work, went out with William to Hamediyah for Ayam Ros with rice! It was awesome! Then Bible study, though I was tired but I really enjoyed and learned a lot of things from the message shared by Sis Jessie!

Tmrw working again, 8 hours! It's gonna be a long day again but I praise God for everything HE had done, the very small thing to the very ultimate gift of salvation and love!

The Joy of the Lord is my strength!

It's August already! I can't really believe it, time is like flying so fast than any other bullet train in the world because new year is still so happening in my mind. It's fast even I'm not studying for the most of the months this year.

God is so faithful, gracious and wonderful. AWESOME says it all. You can give me one whole day and I can just tell you all the wonderful things HE has done or provided me throughout the whole week. God is good.

Sorry for haven't been updating that often. These are the summaries of my past week. Went for dimsum on wednesday with great friends. We had great time fellowshipping with one another. Then went to Penang Hill! It was awesome to see Penang from a bird's view. And guess what? The tram broke down the next day we went. Praise the Lord, for HIS favor is with us.

Then didn't do anything much except working and going to church. That's all. And I believe this week is going to be an awesome week again!

I just got back from breakfast, church, Queensbay and Gurney. Today was a total blast! Church was awesome, God is forever AWESOME and I had great time hanging out with Ivan, Shir Hoay, Datuk Mich, Melanie and Shia Wen with her friend Hui May. I and Ivan together with Shir Hoay then took bus all the way down to gurney before going back home. So now here I am and working later! Gonna have fun as well!

Well the main idea of this post is to share some quotes and encouragements that I learnt all these years that really keeps me motivated and going on! Hope it will minister to you all!

The Spirit of Nimrod

As I was praying and after reading my bible, I somehow just type "Babylonian Spirit" in the google tab and I came across this article in the net. And I find it so true about it and God revealed a lot of things as I read this article and refer back to my Bible.

So I decided to share with you all and hope that you all will keep guard and be watchful.

The Spirit of Nimrod

(Mystery, Babylon)

Revelation 17:5, "And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

There is a mysterious spirit at work in the world today. 2 Thessalonians 2:7 calls it the "mystery of iniquity." The word "mystery" means "secret" or "hidden." This mystery is subtle and camouflaged. It is not easily understandable or in full view, often going unnoticed. It is as if common sense and common decency are being turned upside down. An overshadowing, seducing spirit of evil creeps ever so advancingly among us. A blurring of right and wrong prevails in every avenue of society. It has even invaded the assemblies of churches that proclaim the truth. It is a symptom of the Laodicean Church Age in which we live. The great sin of Laodicea was not so much that she was lukewarm, but that her eyes were blurred so that she could not see her lukewarmness.

We are quickly approaching the midnight hour. Jesus is coming soon! Nightfall is imminent. Isaiah 21:12, proclaims, "The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night..." While the morning of resurrection day awaits for the Church, terrible darkness looms for those left behind. Today, we see that darkness approaching. We live in a kind of twilight, just before full darkness arrives. Twilight is an eerie time of day. It is in this evening time, the time of transition from brightness to darkness, that lessens the visual contrast between objects. In bright daylight, there is strong contrast between light and dark. Even at night there is contrast between that which is bright and that which is dark, such as traffic lights contrasted on a dark background of night. But, as twilight settles, everything lessens in contrast. Distances are hard to judge. Colors fade. Black and white turns to gray. It is difficult to see sharply and distinctly. It is this sort of condition that has settled into the spiritual condition of men today. It is a compromise of that which is right and wrong. The contrast of distinction has gone. No wonder Jesus said, "Let me anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." (Rev. 3:18).

Yet, God has a people on earth, if but for just a short time longer, who has not allowed the blinders to be placed upon their eyes. It is His Bride, who though bewildered by the change in the attitudes of society, is keeping her vision and focus set on the straight and narrow. There is no blurring to the true child of God. Our direction is clear, for we know that "greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4).

Babylon has its roots in the book of beginnings, Genesis. It is one of the earliest societies of mankind. Its path continues through the centuries and is found in the Book of Revelation at the demise of mankind’s societies. Babylon was founded by a man named, Nimrod (Genesis 10). Babylon is more than just a city in the Bible. It is a spirit. It is the spirit of Nimrod. It is a rebellion. It is a rebellion against all that is good, against God Himself. It is self glory, a narcissistic elevation of one’s own worth. It is a spirit of enslavement. The spirit of Babylon is a desire to afflict others with the same corrupt practices and thoughts as has afflicted one’s own self. Not content to be corrupt alone, this spirit seeks to entice and enslave others who willingly submit to its seduction.

It began with the progenitor of sin, Satan. Isaiah depicts how Lucifer desired to be equal to God. "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Isaiah 14:12-14). The earliest desire of Satan (Lucifer) was to build himself up higher than he was qualified to be. This rebellion caused him to be expelled from Heaven. Lucifer was not satisfied to rebel alone. Lucifer’s spirit of revolt caused him to corrupt one third of the angels in Heaven. They too were cast out of Heaven. Once angels, but now demons, they are bound to do the bidding of the Wicked One. The enslavement began.

When God created Adam and Eve, he placed them in a perfect garden paradise, Eden. The temptation of Eve by the serpent was that she could be like God (Genesis 3:5). It was the same spirit that caused the rebellion in Heaven, and now caused mankind also to rebel against a Holy God. Because of Adam and Eve’s fall, mankind was banished from the Garden, and was now bound to sin and corruption. The enslavement continued.

Then Nimrod came along. If any human in man’s early history epitomized Lucifer’s desire, it was Nimrod. Note Genesis 10:9, "He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD."

Why did the Lord take special notice of this mighty hunter? Was it because Nimrod hunted and killed many animals? No. The word, "mighty," in Genesis 10:8-9, can be translated from Hebrew as "tyrant." Note some of the meanings from Strong’s Hebrew-Greek Dictionary regarding the word "before," as in "before the Lord." Strong says, "From the Hebrew, ‘paniym,’ the face (as the part that turns); against, anger, battle, forefront, impudent, untoward, upside down." This seems to indicate something more than Nimrod being a skillful hunter of animals. Rather, it would portray him as blatantly obstinate against God Himself. He waged battle against God for the loyalty of men. He impudently stood in the face of God. He rebelliously stood before the Lord with the same Luciferan lust for power that Lucifer had during the attempted Heavenly coup. The spirit of enslavement now had a human vehicle - Nimrod! He not only hunted animals, but he hunted also the very souls of men! He hunted them and enslaved their souls to follow his pernicious ways. No wonder Peter preached, "Save yourselves from this untoward generation." (Acts 2:39).

Nimrod wanted to build a tower to reach to heaven. Genesis 11:4 says, "And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." Here we see a unified effort by the people of the world for a single purpose. This purpose is the problem. They desired to make a name for themselves and storm the gates of Heaven. Their intents were pushed by the same spirit Satan exhibited at his expulsion from Heaven, and in the Garden of Eden with Eve. They desired to usurp the very authority of God. The city was named, Babel, which in Hebrew means, "to confuse." The Babylonians preferred to use the meaning that was more acceptable to them, "gate of God." "Babel," is the Hebrew form, and "Babylon," is the Greek form. Their plan was thwarted when God, with apparent use of his angels, confounded their languages. But, Satan, through Nimrod, continued this insidious enslavement of mankind, to do battle against God. Just as Satan took angels, so Nimrod took men.

We go on through the centuries to the last days. The evil, seducing spirit of Nimrod and Babylon continues to run its course today. As we look at 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, we see another individual. This one is called the "man of sin," the "son of perdition," and the "Antichrist." This man will be the epitome of rebellion. His affronting acts will show forth the "before the Lord," and the "stand in your face" attitude of Lucifer and Nimrod. His brazen boldness will cause him to sit in the temple "showing himself that he is God." (2 Thessalonians. 2:4). Capturing others into his wicked ways, we see according to Revelation 13, that he causes all to worship him, requiring them to take the mark of the beast, "Six, Six, Six." The enslavement continues.

It is this same spirit of deceitfulness that will be found in the Harlot Church of Revelation 17. Here we find her drunk with the blood of the saints and prophets. The Antichrist will ride Babylon into that great day of Armageddon. There are three divisions to Babylon: Ecclesiastical or Religious (Spiritual) Babylon; Political or Governmental Babylon; and Commercial or Economic Babylon. Throughout history all three of these portrayals of Babylon have reared its ugly head and manifested the spirit of seduction and deceit. They have denigrated God and His church. They have stepped on biblical precepts and counsel, and sought to put humanism on the throne where God Almighty only should reign. They have in effect built a tower of Babel, religiously, politically, and economically, and have bombarded the very gate of Heaven, seeking entrance to overthrow the Omnipotent Creator. They have placed more esteem upon the creation rather than the One Who created them. In effect, they have said as their predecessor Lucifer, "I will be like the Most High!" Furthermore, they have sought to enslave by seduction all who will follow them, hunting and entrapping souls with religious compromise, political expediency, and financial dishonesty with debt laden snares. The enslavement continues - but not for much longer.

Babylon’s influence is so powerful that Revelation 17:18 tells us, "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."

Yet, God shall have the final word, and victory. Revelation 18:11-13 shows the demise of that great Babylonian merchandiser of men’s souls, "And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men."

Galations 6:7 proclaims, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked..." Babylon’s judgment shall be complete as Revelation 18:2 says, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen." She will not get up again! Note Revelation 18:14, "...and thou shalt find them no more at all."

Many who enjoyed the profits of her influence will weep because of her destruction, "For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! and they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate." (Rev. 18:17-19).

But, the saints may rejoice, because the final victory belongs to God. Read Revelation 18: 20-21, "Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."

Awesome days

Last Sunday, I had wonderful dimsum for breakfast with friends in Bali Hai before going to church in 286. We had a great time chatting, eating and taking pictures. Praise the Lord! For pictures, click here, it's uploaded by Ivan. After that, church was ever awesome. Love Pastor Sophia's message, even in Hokkien Camp Night service I attended last Friday.

Then went Gurny after church, watched Hannah Montana again while eating McD inside the cinema. Haha, Then I had dinner with family then work.

For Monday, I got my hair cut in Hair Impression. I look much neater this time. LOL. Then nothing much besides working.

I went for the prayer and fasting session in Hunza on Tuesday after droping my dad to work. It was AWESOME. Been praying and interceeding for people and nations all over the world. Before going to Hunza, I dropped by my old house which my dad sold it off last year. I miss that place, that house is the place I grew up. I stayed there since I was 4 until 17 before moving to Pulau Tikus and Tanjong Tokong. I somehow prayed to God that I will buy back the house one day when I have the money. LoL.

Yeah, finally updates about myself. I noticed I haven't been much updating about myself. All I blogged was all about dedications and invitations. So, now it's time for you all to know what am I up to! LoL.

I've settled my hostel application. Got a place to stay - Cova Square! Praise God, I'll accept any roommates that God appoints. =)

Last Tuesday, I had dim sum with Edward and Ben at Bali Hai. It was awesome, early in the morning, a fresh cup of chinese tea after so many cups of coffee. LOL. We had fun eating and chatting. And now out of a sudden pula, I'm craving for dim sum! LoL. Dim Sum anyone?

About my working, it's been 3 months already and I'm still enjoying it. Maybe because of the lovely customers that became my friends and partners that I'm working with. But I'm gonna quit soon in one months time. Sad =(

What's next? Jenny will be going down KL already and I will have less one friend here to hang out with. Penang First Mega Food Carnival is up! Trust me, it's gonna be a blast! My gps says so! Haven't grab a ticket? Come buy it from me, it's on sale now! Hurry!

Finally my blog skin is done! Finally changed it for the first time ever since I blogged. Phew! I promised not to touch HTML code ALONE anymore. LoL. Finally, it's done!

Imagine answer the wrong thing and give stupid reasons in the interview yet still accepted! LOL. Praise God! Haha. Anyway this post is for her.

Hey people, I'm free now so decided to write.

Like I said, Room77 was AWESOME. Part of the photos are up in Facebook. Click here for pictures in facebook uploaded by Melvin and IGNITE-Youth.

Everything had been awesome. Praise God, Room77 is really a victory report. Many turned up that day and many didn't turn up as well, but in anyway we still give thanks.

So what's next? Basically, for me, I believe it's time for me to really settle myself down and prepare myself for my studies. Therefore, I got a whole lot long list of things to do in these one month plus before I start my holiday with cousins who are coming back from England this 20th August.

1. I got to slowly pass all my stuff in IGNITE to new people. Especially the new follow-up list.
2. I got to send in my hostel forms, EPF withdrawal and PTPTN forms. Basically forms, forms and forms to fill up.
3. Prepare myself for KL.
4. Mass and Spring cleaning for my room. You guys can't imagine how messy is my room. Haha.
5. Earn as much as I can from working. Going to quit soon.

I have to do 5 main tasks above in a period between now till 20th August. Then after that, it's all about holiday. I dunno where to go yet, but I'll be going for holiday with my cousins who are back from UK that time.

So that's basically all of it. This year I dunno why, time really flies. As in like super fast! Haha. People, Christmas is coming! Get ready your heart, practices and dresses and shirts too! HAHAHA.

This saturday, I have a badminton competition organised by Men's Fellowship.I'm partnering with Uncle Alan Ban. Haha.

Mega Food Carnival is coming too! Please grab hold of tickets and prepare to makan! Hahaha.

It was a blast. Praise God. I'm very tired now, so wont explain in details.

First of all, Thank God for giving me the chance to be part of HIS plans and works Room77.

Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding me all the time. At first FEW seconds it was me, kinda nervous, but then after that, it is all about HIM guiding me! Woo-hooo!

Next is all my ushers and follow ups sekalian, thank you. Continue to keep the fire burning HOT for God.

Busy

It's been long time, not really, since I last blogged. Haha. Things have been real good. Praise God as everything just went smoothly.

Firstly, Room77! Everything is now falling into places and everyone is getting ready for it. I'm fired up and so excited over it! It's gonna be awesome, glory be all to God!

Working is fine as well, as I got some good friends. They have been good to me and we just share thoughts and our testimony to each other when we are free as some of them are Christians. =)

Yesterday, went out with MsLai and friends (Ash, Thani, Madeline, Brayan, ShinDee, JayWyn and Deepak) for breakfast in Gurney Kapitan. After that, Transformer in Gurney. It was such a good film! As usual! Haha. Then dinner in Ananda, saw Pastor Reggie Lee and Louis Manuel having dinner there as well. Haha.

Everything is good. Thank God for that. Now it's only all out for Room77, 7 days more! Great! After that, got to prepare my heart for KL now. =)

I'm sorry for not updating that frequently anymore, cause I was really busy with God's work and my own work. I'm still alive and super happy cause I'm serving a wonderful FATHER.

I'm now:
-Looking for place to stay when i get down to KL this sept.
-Thinking when to resign, since JT has resigned. LOL.
-Preparing the stuff and myself for Room77, its gonna be awesome!
-Helping out people in their studies for free.
-Still working in Starbucks as usual.
-Trying to find time to have a mass cleaning for my room.
-Very HAPPY and I thank God for His favor upon me. And I'm happy cause you know why =)
-Got a very new assignment from God, which I'm still figuring out which 7 God is referring to. Hmmm.

That's all I guess. Haha. I pray that may all of you have an awesome week ahead cause we're Greatly blessed, Highly favored and deeply loved by God! GBU!

At first I was very tired eh, but then the message tones just rang in my notebook. So I got up and check. LoL. Chat with Melvin and just realised, tmrw Fenny and Daisy is going back to Palembang! So I would love to dedicate this post to them, I dunno why, just feel like want to blog about it I guess.

Fenny and Daisy were the first 2 friends I made when I went to Singapore. We went to the zoo, science centre together with Alarize and many more. We had fun. And I'm very very amazed by their love and faith towards God, I respect! I noticed the way they pray and talk to God, I can literally feel the presence of God on the spot. They were great people and I hope to visit them someday in Palembang! Besides, they are my blog loyal readers so they will sure to read this eh, so don't mind putting effort writing this post for them. LoL.

Today, one of my friend went down to Melacca for Multimedia University. And finally, Penang has got the peace that everyone needed. LOL. Haha, When she laughs, the whole Gurney atrium will get to hear her voice. LoL. She's none other than Michelle Anne. Well, we used to do stupid stuff, like climbing up to Disted rooftop, playing jokes and pranks during class and many more. I'm now blogging from the Gardens Starbucks. I went to SEGi Kota Damansara just now and my jaws literally dropped. Not because of girls larh, but the campus is super duper BIG. LoL. Serious, it's bigger than Chung Ling High Schl.

Anyway, my parents paid the fees already and from now, just gonna believe in God that HE'll provide and by faith I accepted the offer. So I'll be studying Master of Pharmacy 2 years in KL and 2 years in Sunderland, UK. Haha. So remember me in your prayer ya, thanks much!

This is my first time since "dunno when" I spent so much on a day. LoL. First, I got my hair cut at Hair Impression. Then went to Midland with Melvin and bought a webcam and headset with mic. Then I went to Starbucks to get a 4C coffee press for my dad. I plan to give that to my dad in this upcoming Fathers' day.

I'm still alive and doing great if you guys wondering because I haven't been much updating my blog. Anyway, it was an awesome week for me, though my ManU suffered a defeat in Rome.

Well, I didn't do much things except working and going to church. As usual, Friday prayer meeting and Ignite plus Sunday service were all awesome. God is really good. I go church with high expectation that God will do something great and new and God really did.

Oh ya, Thursday, we had a surprise birthday for Kylie! Hahaha. She was shocked! And I scored this assignment better than my biology! Yayayayayay! HAHAHA.

Working was okay as well, with great people to work with. And I'm so blessed. Just to share with you guys, I actually escaped from snapshot last night. LOL. I will always commit my working to God eh, HIS favour and blessing and all on my workings. So last night, somehow amazingly, snapshot came when I was in the storeroom (car park) to grab some stock. Haha. And my MOD and collegues were in the stores and facing the snapshots. I don't want to comment about how they did, but I think I'll be shaky if I'm the one facing snapshot, cause he'll ask lots of questions, the drinks that we make must be accuarate within certain range in terms of temperature and weight. Because I'm so called still new, haven't been much reading about coffees, I don't think I can answer them well. LoL. Anyway, really thank God that HE placed me doing things at the right time.

Another thing is, I got my new notebook! And praise God, I got it for free. Thank God and thanks to my dad and uncle which came back from Singapore.

This is a post that I'm supposed to post it up 2 days ago, but I didn't because of my connection. Mum finally fixed by calling the TM people and they changed the wire in my house. So now my connection is fast and effective. Praise the Lord!

Anyway, Happy birthday Wesley! Wesley is my cousin, mix of chinese and negro. Btw, he's a doctor graduated from University of Nottingham. To tell you a little bit of the truth, he plays a major role besides God setting the burden in, in inspiring me to be a doctor. LOL.

Behind the Scenes

I know, I'm becoming a little bit drama lately. But what to do? we're humans and humans have emotions right? That's how God created us.

Well, actually everything is clear. But I got a little bit (VERY actually) upset when I overheard how my parents are gonna fund me for my education. You know, tears can actually come down when you hear all these because the burden you can just feel for them. So I got to really decide La Trobe or University of Sunderland. I got the peace in my heart to go for SEGi which is University of Sunderland.

Just that it's a "future better opportunities" vs "honouring and love your parents so decide to study a lower ones so that burden is not that heavy and not that recognised ones (in fact, it's not even recognised by the Pharmacy board of Malaysia)" thing and stupid or rather silly thoughts like (I wont reveal here, ask me if you want to) . These 2 elements or factors made me think unrationally and I get tensed up. Really really tensed up.

Well, I learned a thing from Gladys Ho Yee Theng aka my senior. That is to live really by faith ler. Although I have been encouraging people with that but somehow it's hard to apply to ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I know God is gonna provide, but I'm desperate to know, how is HE going to provide. It's 2 different things.

But anyway, I decided to go SEGi already, though the burden is very visible for my parents, but somehow I believe God is just gonna take my and their burdens up because God wants the best for HIS children. I got the answer from my heart already, just that stupid thoughts and visible circumstances make me stumble. I do not need to care about visible circumstances. If not "Live by faith and not by sight" wont serve any purpose already. Its God's word and it will come to past. So I'm really living by faith and not by sight. Meaning I wont see much on the burdens side, but instead, look forward to complete my Master and earn back all the money to repay my parents. It's going to be tough, but it's rewarding in the end with God is on my side.

So pray for me. If should anything happens, then I'll just go wherever God ask me to go. If everything goes well, I'm taking Master of Pharmacy (Mpharm) in SEGi and University of Sunderland 2 years later.

So keep me in your prayer ya! Thanks a lot! Ttyl!

Burger syndrome

This is getting pretty serious. It has outbreak among the youths of today.

Everyone is crazy over burger.

There were 4 cases identified and are classified as Burger syndrome yesterday by the Ministry of Health department.

Melvin is craving for tall burger, Ben even dream't about burger and Kon Way is posting about burger in his blog, enhancing the effect and Shir Hoay was eating 2 burgers straight in 2 nights.

This outbreak is getting serious. Something has to be done before this gets any further. The National Security in the airport will be scanning and carrying out health checking to all passengers that flew to or from Penang. Penang has became the place responsible for this outbreak.

Scientist has identified the virus of this outbreak and it is called as B1P1V1S1.

The symptoms are people will always mention about eating burger or will shivel when we mention about burgers.

Government has set up few burger rehab centers. If you find anyone out there that needs help, please call 604-1234567.

Prevention is better than cure.

Roller Coaster!

It's been a pretty busy week for me. All the hangouts and works.

I start off my birthday on wednesday where I spent my first 2 hours of my 19th Birthday on working in Starbucks. How sad. But it's kinda nice though for Torres (my previous shift supervisor) and See Ling to remember it. I think they got to know it through facebook cause she's online at that time while I was working. LoL.

Then I went out with Alarize later in the afternoon. We went Sushi King and she bought me 2 books! Thanks Rize! Haha. After that, we went for movie X-men with Ben Teoh. And guess what? I fell asleep in the middle of the movie. LoL. But thank God I've watched it a week ago, so not too bad ler. Then I went back to work. LOL. I spent my last 2 hours of my birthday on working in starbucks as well. Again, how sad. LoL.

Nothing much on Thursday. Practically working and working. And Friday, oh yesh. After working, I went to Paradise for buffet dinner with Melvin, Ben Teoh and Gabriel using Ben's mum ticket. Our mum(s) are the members of the club in the hotel so they get this complementary stuff annually. My mum's birthday is coming so another ticket is coming up! Haha. Then we stayed over that night. Oh ya, we had burger too for supper at 1, before Red cliff movie! Haha. Go here for Ben's updates about it.

I got a surprise present from Ben Teoh, Melvin, Edward, Neil and Kylie. Thanks ya. I finally got King Julien, my favourite character in Madagascar! I didnt expect it to be King Julien. I was just saying about it verbally to Kylie in Toysrus. Thanks ya!Hahahahahahaha.

And saturday I got work and can't find replacement so I got to skip Ignite. Sigh. HopeI didnt miss much. =)

I don't want to put "resolutions", I'm changing it to "things I want to see"

Things that I want to see are:

My burden is with Ignite Youth. Of course I want to see the youths to grow more each day.
Not a doubt, I want to see greater miracles in people's lives including mine!
I want to see ManU lifting up Premiership and Champions League this season and seasons to come! (Now they're playing against Arsenal!)
I want to see people coming to know God and who God is and what can our FATHER do beyond our wildest dream.
I want to see myself in visions and dreams.
Of course, same thing, I want to see my parents couldn't be any happier and healthier!
And all my friends "Ho-kun, Ho-chiak and Ho-pang" and may God bless all their lives abundantly with a purpose.

It's pretty funny to see my last year's post on my birthday. Things have changed and I've changed. The way I write and all, it's so different!

And I thank God, for all the things HE has done in my life for 19 years. I'm really blessed with everything. I have great friends, the GRACE that God gave in my studying life is awesome, naggy but GREAT parents to discipline me, GREAT food that I ate by far, making me so plum and everything else.

I wish to see and (I know that) greater things will come and I'm so anxious on this year because I believe God is gonna do something different and awesome in this year!

=D Park Ji-Sung and C Ronaldo just scored in only 11 minutes in Emirates stadium! My birthday just couldn't start in any better way than this! Haha.

It's been a busy week for me. I mean really busy. Been exercising a lot, going out and work.

I played badminton, jogged and kayak. Haha.
- Badminton with Kylie, Ben teoh, Melvin teoh, Adrian, Kon Way, Melanie, Yong Wei, Wei Kong, Aaron, Mabel James and Edward. Haha.
- Kayak with Igntie youth and we had an awesome one.
- Jogged with my exercise kakis Ben Teoh and Kylie! Haha.

I hang out with people a lot too (and watched X-Men origin alone too!)

And I've been working almost everyday.

Now, I'm not feeling well, feverish already after all these activities. But anyway, I had an awesome week with no regrets! Haha.

I have thousands of thousands of reasons to give thanks and I can just tell you all day long. =D
I thank God for:
1. Perfect weather
(It's amazing to observe the weather before we kayak, during kayak and after kayak and even now raining, making my bed so comfortable to sleep on)
2. God's words and ways
3. His favor upon ManU, they won agaisnt Arsenal and Mids'boro
4. The strength that God gave me to endure all these hectic and busy week.
5. Thank HIM for HIS grace and mercy and love that I'm still alive and able to blog now.
6. Thank God for everything including that I got sick already after so long, but I still love God deeper than ever each day! =D

Haha. And I learned that:

Every disappointment is God's appointment!
When we're down to nothing, God is up to something for us!

Dolphins

I received pictures on the birth of dolphins and I find it super interesting so I decided to share it with you all.

As we know, dolphins are mammal so they don't lay eggs.

So their babies come out from their abdomen part.

I love this most! This is the moment when the mother is trying to break the umbilical cord.

The mother then is trying to clean up the baby, as in like clean up the fluid on the body of the baby to prevent attractions from their predators and she is teaching the baby how to swim too.

And ta-da! God's creation is so awesome. Haha.

Some interesting facts about dolphins:

Q. Can dolphins live in fresh water and salt water?
A. Yes, 5 specific species live in fresh water, they are usually named after the river they swim in such as the Amazon, the Yangzi Jiang, or the Ganges.

Q. What is the dolphins greatest predator?
A. MAN! Man is the dolphins greatest predator, more then 100,000 dolphins die each year because of man, either in nets or for gastronomy. The second predator is the shark, the worst areas for these "too close" encounters are South Africa and Australia.

Q. Are dolphin endangered?
A. The river dolphins are the only dolphins that are endangered or vulnerable right now.

Q. How do dolphins sleep?
A. Dolphins sleep only with one half of their brain at a time. Remember dolphins are conscious breathers. Should they sleep and go unconscious as we do they would simply suffocate or drown. Sleeping dolphins can be seen as resting, floating at the surface, with one eye open. After a time, they will close the one eye and open the other one. They alternate like this throughout their entire nap. THIS IS SO COOL!

Q. Do dolphins have a sense of smell?
A. Dolphins can taste, but have no sense of smell.

There are mainly 3 types in the family of dolphins.
1. Bottle-nose dolphins
2. Orcas (Killer whale)
3. Porpoise

The ones up there are Bottle-nose dolphins.

Swine Influenza

Guys, meet the cousin of SARS, Swine Influenza (Swine Flu). Swine actually refers to animals which are stout-bodied short-legged omnivorous animals such as pigs and other hogs family.

It is actually common in swine but rare in human. It's hard to infect humans unless the swine has a strain able to infect humans and it's VERY rare that these strains are able to pass from human to human. But why it has outbreak in Maxico and other parts of the states?

Over the past few years, this little guy has undergone mutation due to external reasons like temperature, excessive heat, acidity, UV light. All these factor can cause the hydrogen bond and phosphate deoxyribose backbone to break causing the sequence of A, T, C and G to change. Hence, their external characteristic became strong.

The strain responsible for the Swine flu outbreak 2009 is believed to have undergone such a mutation.This virus is named swine flu because one of its surface proteins is similar to viruses that usually infect pigs however this strain is spreading in people and it is unknown if it infects pigs.

In humans, the symptoms of swine flu are similar to those of influenza like fever, muscle pain, coughing and general discomfort.
So, try to take precaution alright. You all know what is it like already. Haha. I'm bored thats why I went to do some research about it. Hope it helps. =)

Nothing much these few days. Monday and Tuesday I went for Starbucks training and it was good. I attended the Art of Espresso class too. I saw Alan on the first day and William on the second. LoL. so chun eh.

Then wednesday was my first day at Island. Ben, Javin, Kylie and Nicole came by to visit me. LoL. Lawak ler they all. Haha. Then, Thursday and Friday worked as usual. Just that for Thursday, I went jogging with Kylie. Haha, going healthy now.

So now here I am blogging and later, I'm going for badminton with Ben and Kylie they all. Haha

Haha. Yesterday and today were superb. What I did was basically eat, eat and eat and catching up time with people.

Yesterday, I went to pick Chang Tai from his house and went to Ananda to meet up with Ben, Edward, Kylie and Nicole. Had a great time there chatting and eating. Haha. Btw, Chang Tai is back for one week from Monash University. He's studying medicine MBBS there. WHOA, I tell you, he can eat a lot. He just came back from Seoul Garden, and still can eat Roti Nan with Tandoori. After that, where everyone went back, me and him went for burger! Imagine, Seoul garden, Ananda tandoori and burger! whoa! Haha. Maybe he's stressed out from MBBS? =p

Then today, me and him picked Shin Juey up and went to Kapitan Gurney for breakfast with Ms Lai and madeline. Haha. Joel has grown up a lot. LoL. After breakfast, we went to Disted. Kylie was smart. She asked Jenny out and we chatted with her so that she can have longer breaks. Haha. Around 1pm, me and Chang Tai drove all the way to Auto City for Sushi King! Sushi King is having promotion, very cheap only. Haha. We're not so siao ler go all the way just to eat Sushi. We met up with some friends as well. All of them are now in Monash studying medicine too. Haha. We ate a lot but pay so little! LoL.

I had fun, eating sushi with doctors and all the jokes man. LoL.

After that, me and Chang Tai were thirsty so we went to Gurney plaza McD for the coke. Met Kylie in Gurney! LoL, How come I always meet u wan arr? Hahahahahaha. After that, came home and here I am.

So tired! Another thing that made my day is ManU is in semifinal after beating the dragon in their own den! LoL. See ya people. =D

People, it's Easter again, where Christmas is still fresh in my mind. It's like still so happening. Time is like flying so fast. I could even remember what I did during last Easter. Well, need I say more on the meaning of Easter?

Today is a good Friday, where 2000 years ago this day, God redeemed us through sacrificing HIS son Jesus Christ on the cross so that we may gain life. Well, I really thank God for the cross. I seriously don't want to go to hell for the things that I have done. I don't even dare to have a glimpse on what Hell look's like cause I know it's horrible, it's way beyond horrible.

A year has past and I thank God I'm still in HIS path, following HIM closely. Not to say that I'm so good boy ler, I admit, there were at times, I sort of turn my back against HIM. And I'm sorry for that. It's by the grace, mercy and love from God that I am where I am now.

Here's a video I downloaded from youtube. I downloaded because my connection got problem until it wont buffer at all. So yeah, I hope that you will understand what Christ has to go through 2000 years ago.

Yeah, I don't even dare to think if I'm the one on the cross, the pain is so unbearable. Christ did all these for you and I so that we may gain life. HE loved us, loves us, is loving us and will love us eternaly even those people that don't know HIM, HE still calls you by name, and knows the number of hairs that you have.

I really thank God for this day. And people, if God speaks to you, please respond to HIM. You wouldnt want to miss anything from HIM. Seriously. It's so amazing God accepts me unconditionally, wholeheartedly and me? What have I done for Him?

Lord, I thank you for the cross and your love, I choose to love you more and will go wherever you want me to go! I'm yours, take me as I am.

Serious, I have never been so happy before for quite some time until today. A sincere genuine happy and joy within my heart. Reasons are a lot.

Well, apparently, I'm back! I got blessed by the people there in Singapore, will blog about my trip on other days.

And yesterday I attended Revo PARTY. The message was good. Pastor Kenneth Chin preached about Holy spirit. The sermons speak right through my heart. And yeah, God's presence was ever strong. I signed up for the conference which will be held in this coming June in KL too =p.

Haha, I think it's time to introduce to you guys, who have I been going out with in Singapore. LoL. Of course, I got to know quite a number of friends in Singapore.

This is Alarize from Penang! Finally got Penang Lang. Haha.

Yeah, they all actually have been a great blessing to me. I know Alarize since Cheq Up and Fenny and Daisy on the second day I'm in Singapore. All of them are older than me. So I'm the youngest ler when I hang out with them. They took a very good care of me, guide me and all so that I wont get lost! LoL.

Then, I also have 2 (more than 2 actually) friends that I got to know through Beth. Her cell group members were really nice to me. We had a Bbq outing and from there we got to know each other more. Friends like Boon Siong, Darren, Ms Tan and many more. They were really great to me. I can consider quite young among them ler besides Beth and her friends. LoL.

Thanks a lot you people. Really had a great time with you guys and you all truly are great blessings to me! Hospitalities from you guys are super warm! Thank you and God bless you!

Let go and Let God

Hey people, I actually wanted to post this last week eh, but too busy. LoL.

Okay, what amazed me is the message from Pastor Kong and Pastor Phil Pringle for the past few weeks. Pastor Kong Hee is from City Harvest and of course, Pastor Phil is from Christian City Church from Sidney.

1.
Sometimes, God allows problems into our lives. We know that. But you have to understand that, everything has a purpose. God is stretching your heart and HE keeps stretching it until the limit where your heart is unable to go back to original shape. Let me explain further, it's like a rubber band or spring, when u stretch it until the limit (in science we call it the extension limit), if you let go, the spring wont go back to it's original shape. And if u further stretch it, it will snap, right?

We know that God knows what is best for you, definitely HE knows your limit. So HE often allows problems to come into our lives, so that our heart is stretched until its extension limit, so that our heart is moulded and changed. In other words, we're now BESAR HATI to accept what God has installed for you in the future.

For example, last time you're very kedekut, but after you learn your lesson, you're now willing (BESAR HATI) to give cause blessed are those to give than to receive. It makes any sense?

That is why, it is very important to not give up on God whenever a problems strikes. Hold on to God and be patient. However, the devil will do whatever it takes to stop you fom fullfilling God's will. So negative thoughts keep coming in, telling that you're too weak to handle. So sometimes, we always ask ourselves, can we actually do it? So really, don't give up! God is making you big!

Another thing is we often allow ourselves to be holded back from the things of the past.

I quote from Pastor Kong, "who hasn't back-sliden before?"

Everyone does. Everyone did stupid things before in their lives. But many of us always doubt, does God really forgive all our sins? Answer is YES. God forgives every single things you did before, as long as you really change and repent. But so often, we always hold ourselves back and the devil will keep reminding you that you're not worthy in God's plan. But let me tell you again, you're BIG in God's plan. You want the proof? The truth is Jesus died for you even before you know Him. It's not fair for God to do that for us. But HE did, right? This proves that HE loves us and has forgiven all our sins through HIS love, grace and mercy. So, we just have to let go our past, our stupid stuff and let God!

Third thing is sometimes, we feel that we're a loser. But you guys forgotten one thing. Before you were born, you're only a sperm and an egg right? I mean this is science. Everyone is made up of an egg and a sperm. Imagine there's only one egg but millions and millions of sperms, and we know that different sperms has diffrent genetic materials. But look! You beat the rest of the sperms to fertilised with the eggs from your mother. You're a champ even before you were born! God made you is not a mistake!

Pastor Phil said you're born because you're a victor!

So in other words, God made you with a purpose and trust God He knows what's best for you. Have hope in HIM, definitely He will prosper you in every area. Don't give up when you face problems, hang in there. Let go and let God!

Super Nice and Cute Animals

I'm gonna post up some nice photos of animals I encountered in Singapore Botanic Garden and Singapore Zoo.

These geese/swans just swim FREELY in the pond of the Botanic Gardens. Amazingly is when I go near to the bank of the pond, they will come to me! Serious, they don't just run away because of humans. Besides, they swim in pairs. Makes me realise God's creation is so AWESOME.

These are from the zoo. Above is a giant squirrel and this one I dunno what is it called. This guy here, jual mahal. Whenever I point my camera lense at his face, he will turn away his face to the ohter side. He doesnt want me to take picture of him. Well, I wanted to touch him t first, but I dare not. LoL. Anyway, he's cute! Haha.

Haha, last Thursday, me and Alarize went to City Hall and from there we walked to City Link Mall, Sg Flyer, Esplanade, Merlion, Raffles, Clarke Quay, then we walked to China Town! It's a whole afternoon and Evening Journey! Haha. Imagine we walk from Gurney plaza to Jetty! That's the distance! Lol.

I love Mustafa, they got great and cheap stuff there and I love Merlion! Haha.
